Thriller Research

I thought jodi's idea was really good to use in a thriller film because it had a lot of darkness in the opening which makes it seem mysterious and unpredictable. Also it wouldn't be obvious what would happen next, because it's set on the sea, in an abandoned ship.
Inside the ship, everything is missplaced
which makes the audience think more about what's just been shown, and what could happen next. It's a good idea for a thriller because the audience can't tell what's happened or why the ship is abandoned , which creates suspense. The opening doesn't tell the audience much about who is involved, so that's something else they will think about. it's also not clear why the film is set in that location, so the opening shows very little of the rest of the thriller.
